Funnel Draw / Integrations / Snapchat Ads
Funnel Draw + Snapchat Ads
The Snapchat Ads connection is planned and not built yet. It will read each campaign's spend, impressions, swipe-ups and Pixel conversions from Snap's measurement API and put them on the funnel steps they feed, beside the plan.

How it works
- Real spend on the step Each Snapchat campaign you link to a step will show its spend, impressions, clicks and conversions next to what the funnel planned.
- Read-only by design The connection is planned to only read reports through the Snap Marketing API (measurement stats). Funnel Draw will never create, pause or edit your Snapchat ads.
- Swipes counted as clicks Snap reports swipe-ups rather than clicks; they will fill the step's clicks so cost per click and click-through rate compare with the plan.
How you'll set it up
Open Ad accounts
In Funnel Draw, open your workspace, then Integrations → Ad accounts. Snapchat Ads is listed there as coming; once it's built, the workspace's owner or an admin will click Connect Snapchat.
Sign in with Snapchat and allow access
Snap's login will open: sign in with the Snapchat account that is a member of your organization in Snap Ads Manager and allow access. Snap shows its one Marketing API permission; Funnel Draw will only read stats.
Pick the ad accounts
Back in Funnel Draw, tick the ad accounts to bring in from your Snap organization. Recent history will come in first, then each account updates every night.
Link campaigns to steps
On the canvas, open the step the campaign feeds (for example the ad step before your landing page) and link one or more campaigns to it. The step will then show the real numbers beside the plan, refreshed every night.
Ideas to try
When a meal kit store tests Snapchat, compare it with Meta
A meal kit store links its Snapchat and Meta campaigns to two traffic steps. Snapchat shows USD 18 per first order against USD 25 on Meta, so it asks its AI for what_if with more budget on Snapchat.
When swipes are high but sales are low, check the page
A sneaker Shopify store sees Snapchat swipe-ups on plan but purchases 50% below. The step-by-step numbers point at the product page, not the ad.
Questions
Will Funnel Draw be able to change my Snapchat ads?
No. The plan is read-only: Funnel Draw will only request campaign performance reports through the Snap Marketing API (measurement stats). Snap has a single Marketing API permission (snapchat-marketing-api) that Snap describes as read and write, so read-only will be kept on Funnel Draw's side: it will only call the stats endpoints.
What data will be kept, and for how long?
Only what the step needs: each campaign's name, ID and status, and its daily spend, impressions, clicks and conversions. No ad creatives and no data about the people who saw your ads. Google Ads, the live connection, keeps 13 months of daily numbers; Snapchat Ads is planned to work the same way.
What happens when I disconnect Snapchat?
Disconnecting will delete its ad accounts, campaigns and numbers from the workspace, unlink them from your steps, and revoke Funnel Draw's access at Snapchat. You can also remove the app's access from your Snapchat account settings at any time.
Who in my Snap organization can connect it?
Any Snapchat account that can see the ad accounts in Snap Ads Manager. Funnel Draw will only list the ad accounts that account can reach, and an agency will add each client's ad account in that client's workspace.
