Funnel Draw / Integrations / LinkedIn Ads
Funnel Draw + LinkedIn Ads
The LinkedIn Ads connection is planned and not built yet. It will read spend, impressions, clicks and conversions per campaign from LinkedIn's reporting API and show them on the steps they feed, so a B2B funnel can see its real cost per lead next to the plan.

How it works
- Real spend on the step Each LinkedIn campaign you link to a step will show its spend, impressions, clicks and conversions next to what the funnel planned.
- Read-only by design The connection is planned to only read reports through the LinkedIn Marketing API (Reporting, adAnalytics). Funnel Draw will never create, pause or edit your LinkedIn ads.
- Real cost per B2B lead LinkedIn clicks are expensive; seeing real cost per lead and per demo beside the plan shows quickly whether the funnel can afford them.
How you'll set it up
Open Ad accounts
In Funnel Draw, open your workspace, then Integrations → Ad accounts. LinkedIn Ads is listed there as coming; once it's built, the workspace's owner or an admin will click Connect LinkedIn.
Sign in with LinkedIn and allow read-only access
LinkedIn's sign-in will open: sign in with the LinkedIn member who has a role on your Campaign Manager ad accounts (Viewer is enough) and allow the read-only reporting permissions.
Pick the ad accounts
Back in Funnel Draw, tick the Campaign Manager ad accounts to bring in. Recent history will come in first, then each account updates every night.
Link campaigns to steps
On the canvas, open the step the campaign feeds (for example the ad step before your landing page) and link one or more campaigns to it. The step will then show the real numbers beside the plan, refreshed every night.
Ideas to try
When a B2B SaaS pays too much per demo, find the step to fix
A B2B SaaS sees LinkedIn lead form leads at USD 95 against USD 60 planned. It asks its AI for analyze_funnel, which ranks the demo show-up rate as the bigger leak, and tries a reminder sequence in what_if.
When an agency reports a client's LinkedIn spend, show plan vs real
An agency links a client's LinkedIn campaigns to the awareness and lead steps in the client's workspace and shares a view-only link that shows the planned cost per lead next to the real one.
Questions
Will Funnel Draw be able to change my LinkedIn ads?
No. The plan is read-only: Funnel Draw will only request campaign performance reports through the LinkedIn Marketing API (Reporting, adAnalytics). It will ask for LinkedIn's r_ads_reporting permission (retrieve reporting for advertising accounts) and r_ads (read-only access to ad accounts), never rw_ads.
What data will be kept, and for how long?
Only what the step needs: each campaign's name, ID and status, and its daily spend, impressions, clicks and conversions. No ad creatives and no data about the people who saw your ads. Google Ads, the live connection, keeps 13 months of daily numbers; LinkedIn Ads is planned to work the same way.
What happens when I disconnect LinkedIn?
Disconnecting will delete its ad accounts, campaigns and numbers from the workspace, unlink them from your steps, and revoke Funnel Draw's access at LinkedIn. You can also remove the app's access from your LinkedIn account settings at any time.
What LinkedIn role do I need?
Any role on the ad account in Campaign Manager can read reports; LinkedIn's Viewer role is read-only and is enough. Funnel Draw will only see the accounts your LinkedIn member can see.
