How it works

Tasks and subtasks map exactly Funnel Draw's tasks with subtasks become Trello cards with checklists, so nothing is retyped.
Cards point back to the step Each card names the funnel step it belongs to.
Safe by design Trello's MCP can archive cards and lists but never permanently delete them.

Set it up

Connect Funnel Draw to your AI
In Funnel Draw, open Workspace → Integrations → Claude and ChatGPT and copy https://app.funneldraw.com/mcp. In Claude, go to Customize → Connectors → + Add → Add custom connector, paste it and connect; in ChatGPT, go to Settings → Apps → Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode, then Create app with the address and OAuth. Sign in to Funnel Draw and pick the workspace the AI works in.
Connect Trello to the same AI
Add Trello from Claude's connector directory or ChatGPT's apps, or add https://mcp.trello.com/v1 in your client's MCP settings. On the consent screen, pick the Trello workspace(s) to authorize and approve.
Ask for the cards
For example: "Read the checklist in my Watercolor course launch funnel and add a card per task to the 'To do' list on my 'Launch' board, with subtasks as a checklist and the step name in the description."
Review the board
Check the cards, add members and due dates in Trello.
Note the result on the step
Ask the AI to add the Trello board link and what it made (the board link) to the step's notes with update_funnel, or paste it on the step yourself in the canvas. The next time the AI reads the funnel with get_funnel, it sees what is already done.

Questions

Does Funnel Draw connect to Trello directly?

No. Funnel Draw has no direct Trello integration. Your AI holds two connections, Funnel Draw's MCP and Trello's own, reads the step from one and works in the other. Funnel Draw never sees your Trello login.

Is Trello MCP the same as Atlassian's Rovo MCP?

No. Atlassian's support article says Trello MCP covers Trello data, while Rovo MCP covers Jira, Confluence and other Atlassian products.

Does it work on the free Trello plan?

Atlassian says Trello MCP works on all Trello plans; custom fields need Standard or above.
