How it works

Designs start from the brief The AI reads the step's offer, audience and copy from Funnel Draw with get_funnel, so the design says what the funnel planned.
Editable drafts, not flat images Canva's connector creates real Canva designs you can open and change, then export when you're happy.
Links live on the step The design link is written on the step, so your team finds the creative where the plan is.

Set it up

Connect Funnel Draw to your AI
In Funnel Draw, open Workspace → Integrations → Claude and ChatGPT and copy https://app.funneldraw.com/mcp. In Claude, go to Customize → Connectors → + Add → Add custom connector, paste it and connect; in ChatGPT, go to Settings → Apps → Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode, then Create app with the address and OAuth. Sign in to Funnel Draw and pick the workspace the AI works in.
Connect Canva to the same AI
In Claude, go to Customize → Connectors → Browse connectors, find Canva and click Connect; in Claude Code run `claude mcp add --transport http Canva https://mcp.canva.com/mcp`. In ChatGPT, add the Canva app from the apps directory. Sign in to Canva and allow access (on a Canva team, an admin may first need to allow it under Admin Dashboard → Controls and Permissions → Third-party integrations).
Ask for the design
In one chat with both connectors on, say for example: "Read the Lead magnet step in my Watercolor course funnel and make three cover options for the PDF in Canva."
Review the drafts in Canva
Open the links the AI returns, pick one, fix the details in the Canva editor and export it yourself. AI actions in Canva can use your monthly Canva AI credits.
Note the result on the step
Ask the AI to add the Canva link and what it made (which cover you picked) to the step's notes with update_funnel, or paste it on the step yourself in the canvas. The next time the AI reads the funnel with get_funnel, it sees what is already done.

Questions

Does Funnel Draw connect to Canva directly?

No. Funnel Draw has no direct Canva integration. Your AI holds two connections, Funnel Draw's MCP and Canva's own, reads the step from one and works in the other. Funnel Draw never sees your Canva login.

Do I need a paid Canva plan?

Canva says its AI connector works on all Canva accounts, including Free. Brand Templates and Autofill need a paid Canva plan, and AI actions can use your Canva AI credits.

Will the AI publish or share my designs?

Ask it only to create drafts. You open, edit and export them in Canva yourself.
