Funnel Draw + Shopify (MCP)

Connect Funnel Draw and Shopify's own app for Claude or ChatGPT to the same AI, and it can write the product page from the offer step and create the discount code the funnel uses. Shopify gives read-only access unless you approve write access, and blocks refunds, cancellations and gift cards either way.

How it works

Offer and store match Price, bundle and code come from the funnel's offer step, so the store sells what the forecast counted.
Real sales back to the plan The AI reads orders and sales from Shopify and checks them against the step's planned conversions.
You choose the access Approve read-only or read/write for one store at a time; revoke by uninstalling the app.

Set it up

Connect Funnel Draw to your AI
In Funnel Draw, open Workspace → Integrations → Claude and ChatGPT and copy https://app.funneldraw.com/mcp. In Claude, go to Customize → Connectors → + Add → Add custom connector, paste it and connect; in ChatGPT, go to Settings → Apps → Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode, then Create app with the address and OAuth. Sign in to Funnel Draw and pick the workspace the AI works in.
Connect Shopify to the same AI
In Claude, go to Customize → Connectors, find Shopify and install it; in ChatGPT, install the Shopify app from chatgpt.com/apps. You're sent to your Shopify admin to sign in and approve read-only or read/write access for one store.
Ask for the product page and code
For example: "Read the Offer step in my Ceramics store funnel. Create the 'Starter mug set' product as a draft with its description and price, and a 15% code LAUNCH15 that ends Sunday. Show me before saving."
Review in Shopify admin
Open Products and Discounts, check the page, images and code, then set the product to Active yourself.
Note the result on the step
Ask the AI to add the Shopify link and what it made (product link and discount code) to the step's notes with update_funnel, or paste it on the step yourself in the canvas. The next time the AI reads the funnel with get_funnel, it sees what is already done.

When the offer step is set, Shopify gets the product as a draft
A ceramics store's AI writes the product page from the step's promise and price and saves it as a draft product.
When the launch email needs a code, Shopify creates it
The AI makes the 15% LAUNCH15 code the email step plans, with the end date from the funnel.
When the week ends, Shopify sales meet the plan
The AI reads the code's orders and notes real buyers next to the planned ones on the checkout step.

Questions

Does Funnel Draw connect to Shopify directly?

No. Funnel Draw has no direct Shopify integration. Your AI holds two connections, Funnel Draw's MCP and Shopify's own, reads the step from one and works in the other. Funnel Draw never sees your Shopify login.

What can't the Shopify app do?

Shopify's guidance and reviews of the app say a connected AI can't issue refunds, cancel or capture orders, mark orders paid, process returns, or create gift cards.

Can I send Shopify order webhooks into Funnel Draw?

Not directly: Shopify's webhook payload doesn't match Funnel Draw's incoming webhook. Connect them through Zapier, Make or n8n, which map the fields.
