How it works

The list fits the planned audience Job titles, industry, size and region come from the outreach step, and the list size from how many people the funnel needs.
Credits and sends need a yes Apollo recommends setting credit-using actions to Approval required; adding to a sequence starts emails, so the AI waits.
The step knows the list The list name and size go on the step, so the forecast's people count is backed by a real list.

Set it up

Connect Funnel Draw to your AI
In Funnel Draw, open Workspace → Integrations → Claude and ChatGPT and copy https://app.funneldraw.com/mcp. In Claude, go to Customize → Connectors → + Add → Add custom connector, paste it and connect; in ChatGPT, go to Settings → Apps → Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode, then Create app with the address and OAuth. Sign in to Funnel Draw and pick the workspace the AI works in.
Connect Apollo to the same AI
In Claude, add Apollo from Customize → Connectors (or add https://mcp.apollo.io/mcp as a custom connector); in Claude Code run `claude mcp add --transport http apollo https://mcp.apollo.io/mcp`. ChatGPT also has an Apollo connector. Sign in to Apollo and approve access; turn off model training in your AI account first, as Apollo asks.
Ask for the list
For example: "Read the Partner outreach step in my agency funnel. In Apollo, find 150 marketing directors at dental groups in Texas with 20-200 staff and save them to a list 'Q4 partners'. Ask before enriching or adding anyone to a sequence."
Review the list in Apollo
Open the list, remove poor fits and decide which sequence to use; enroll people yourself or tell the AI to.
Note the result on the step
Ask the AI to add the Apollo list link and what it made (list name and size) to the step's notes with update_funnel, or paste it on the step yourself in the canvas. The next time the AI reads the funnel with get_funnel, it sees what is already done.

Questions

Does Funnel Draw connect to Apollo directly?

No. Funnel Draw has no direct Apollo integration. Your AI holds two connections, Funnel Draw's MCP and Apollo's own, reads the step from one and works in the other. Funnel Draw never sees your Apollo login.

Does it use Apollo credits?

Apollo's docs say people search, list management and sequence enrollment don't; company search and enrichment do. Free accounts on a personal email can't search or enrich.

Can it send emails?

Adding people to an Apollo sequence starts its emails, and Apollo's MCP also covers one-off emails. Tell the AI to ask before both.
