Funnel Draw / Integrations / Codex
Funnel Draw + Codex
Codex connects to Funnel Draw's remote MCP server directly, with OAuth sign-in and no bridge. The Codex CLI, the IDE extension and the ChatGPT desktop app share the same config, so you connect once and use your funnels in all three.

How it works
- Native remote MCP Codex supports streamable HTTP servers with OAuth and dynamic client registration, so no mcp-remote bridge is needed.
- Set up once, use everywhere The CLI, IDE extension and ChatGPT desktop app read the same config.toml.
- Approvals you control Set default_tools_approval_mode to writes so Codex asks before it changes a funnel but reads freely.
Set it up
Copy the Funnel Draw address
In Funnel Draw, open your workspace → Integrations and click Copy in the "Claude and ChatGPT" section. The address is https://app.funneldraw.com/mcp.
Add the server
Run codex mcp add funnel-draw --url https://app.funneldraw.com/mcp. Codex starts the sign-in for you.
Sign in and pick the workspace
Your browser opens Funnel Draw: sign in to Funnel Draw, pick the workspace the AI should work in on the consent page, and allow access. If you skipped it, run codex mcp login funnel-draw.
Or edit config.toml
Add [mcp_servers.funnel-draw] with url = "https://app.funneldraw.com/mcp" to ~/.codex/config.toml, then run codex mcp login funnel-draw.
Check it
Run codex mcp list, or type /mcp inside codex, to see Funnel Draw connected.
Ideas to try
When you build a signup flow, keep the funnel in step
Ask "Plan a free-trial funnel for my B2B SaaS and build the signup page". Codex runs the interview, creates the funnel in Funnel Draw and builds the page from it.
When a target is set, find what it takes
Ask "What does it take to reach 200 paying customers a month?" Codex runs goal_seek and reports the traffic or conversion rate needed.
When Monday comes, get the weekly report
Ask "Give me this week's report for the store funnel". Codex calls get_report and summarizes people and money step by step.
Questions
Does Codex need mcp-remote for Funnel Draw?
No. Codex supports remote streamable HTTP servers with OAuth, including dynamic client registration, which Funnel Draw provides.
Where does the ChatGPT desktop app keep this?
In the same Codex config. In the app you can also add it under Settings → MCP servers → Add server (Streamable HTTP), then click Authenticate.
Can I use a Funnel Draw API key instead of signing in?
No. The MCP address only accepts the OAuth sign-in, which ties the AI to one workspace you picked. API keys (fd_live_…) are for the REST API at https://app.funneldraw.com/api/v1.
How do I disconnect it?
Remove the server in the AI app, then in Funnel Draw open Integrations → Connected apps and click Revoke. Revoking ends the access at once, even if the app still lists the server.
