How it works
- From chat to a real funnel ChatGPT creates and edits funnels in your Funnel Draw workspace, so the plan lives on a canvas your team can open, present and share.
- You approve every change ChatGPT asks you to confirm write actions such as creating or updating a funnel, and you can expand each call to see exactly what it sends.
- Numbers from the forecast Costs, revenue, profit and ROAS come from Funnel Draw's forecast engine; when a rate is unknown, it uses a typical range with its source as a stated assumption.
Set it up
Copy the Funnel Draw address
In Funnel Draw, open your workspace → Integrations and click Copy in the "Claude and ChatGPT" section. The address is https://app.funneldraw.com/mcp.
Add a custom MCP server in ChatGPT
On ChatGPT on the web, open chatgpt.com/plugins, click the + button and choose Add custom MCP server.
Fill in the connection
Name it Funnel Draw, paste the address under Connection → Server URL and choose OAuth for authentication. Read the risk warning, click I understand and want to continue, then Create as a plugin.
Install it and sign in
Install the new plugin. When ChatGPT asks you to sign in, Funnel Draw opens: sign in to Funnel Draw, pick the workspace the AI should work in on the consent page, and allow access.
Use it in a chat
In a new chat, type @ in the prompt box, choose Funnel Draw and ask. Approve the write actions ChatGPT shows you before they run.
Ideas to try
When you launch a Shopify store, plan the first funnel
Ask "Plan a funnel for my Shopify store". ChatGPT asks about your best-selling product's price, margin and ad budget, then creates the funnel: ad → product page → cart → checkout → thank-you email, with revenue and profit on each step.
When ads cost more than they earn, find the leak
Ask "Where am I losing money?" ChatGPT runs analyze_funnel on the funnel you name and lists the steps that lose the most money, biggest first.
When you need ad copy, write it on the step
Ask "Write the ads for the Meta step". ChatGPT drafts the headline, caption and call to action and, once you confirm, saves them on the Meta ad step.
Questions
Which ChatGPT plans can add a custom MCP server?
OpenAI's guide says you add custom MCP servers on ChatGPT on the web and that account and workspace policies apply; it doesn't list plans. Guides published in 2026 report the option isn't offered on Free, and on Business, Enterprise and Edu a workspace admin decides whether members can add one. If you don't see Add custom MCP server, your plan or your admin doesn't allow it.
Is this the old developer mode?
It replaces it. OpenAI's page on developer mode now describes adding a custom MCP server from the Plugins page, and ChatGPT supports both read and write tools from the server.
Can I use it in the ChatGPT desktop app?
Yes. In the desktop app you can also open Settings → MCP servers → Add server, choose Streamable HTTP, paste the address, save, restart, then click Authenticate to sign in to Funnel Draw.
How do I disconnect it?
Remove the server in the AI app, then in Funnel Draw open Integrations → Connected apps and click Revoke. Revoking ends the access at once, even if the app still lists the server.
